This is termed as the most "Rocking/Happening Beach" of the entire Goa. Set amidst the lush green baga - anjuna hill, the beach is a delight. You can laze around on the beach, with the sea breeze adding to the magic miles and miles of sand, dotted with sun decks, is what this beach is all about. It is the perfect sun strip for holiday makers. From the Baga - Anjuna hill, the view of Baga beach is amazing. The Baga river flows to the north of the beach. Numerous hotels and restaurants are lined up on the beach coast. South down to Anjuna, it is just a walk away from the beach. This beach is actually an extension of the Calangute Beach and you wouldn't know where Calangute ends and Baga starts. The beach has a splendid stretch for those who love to take long walks. The picturesque view along the beach is well worth watching. A short walk up the hill will take you to the Baga Retreat House, established in 1953, and dedicated to St. Francis Xavier
